Highly recommend these guys specially for Catering services for events. The entire team/staff is so warm, friendly and easy going. Must try picks - Malai Chaap, papdi chaat , Paneer Kadai and Dhaba dal. Fantastic location of the restaurant- right in Pleasanton downtown.

We wanted to try an Indian place somewhere away from home and it was a hot day. We were able to sit outside with our dog which was a plus. The food was a little different and not the normal Indian food. Everything was good and the service was attentive.

This is second time visited this location with my friends for his birthday. The staff were very nice and helpful as they helped me a lot with the selection of the dishes. The dishes tasted super better than expected. Even the chief came and asked us about the food, that did we liked it or not. I would say this restaurant has the one of the best food that I have tried in recent time. I would also suggest others to visit there and try the chief special dishes.

Each and every time I pass Frontier I'm like, "Mmmmm...that smells good!" My gf, the pooch, and I are most always on a mission when we come to Pleasanton, we've already selected our destination place before we come to town. Usually, it's Zachary's. But the other night was different. We wanted Indian, we wanted to go to downtown Pleasanton. Well, it couldn't have been a more perfect intersect. Bustling and busy inside. Most every table with diners, phone ringing off the hook, staff moving fast. With the pooch, it's best for her and us, to eat outside along the walkway/streetside. After all, it was a beautiful evening. A little busy, but our server was very nice and helpful. I ordered a Taj Mahal brew, and we placed our order. Shall I say, our usual Indian order. We ordered: chicken tikka masala, baingan bharta, vegetable biryani, and naan. Everything was very outstanding: presentation, flavor, fresh, spices. Portions were a bit small for the masala and bharta for the price. The star of the show was how the biryana was served -- it looks like a chicken pot pie. They place a raw dough (a naan) and cover the bowl, and bake it. It comes out toasted, and you peel it back (and nibble on it) and steaming hot rice comes out. Yes! We liked a lot, and will definitely come back.

Delicious Indian food with good service in the heart of Pleasanton on Main Street. This small restaurant is clean, nicely decorated and feels like a more upscale but casual Indian restaurant. My husband and I have always enjoyed their food and recently dined with a group of 6 people. We enjoyed our delicious dinner! Some of my favorites- Tandoori Chicken-large platter of well seasoned tender chicken was a favorite! Garlic Naan-we couldn't get enough of their fresh garlic naan. Soft, chewy thin bread with toasty edges. Chicken Tikka-flavorful, thick sauce with tender chicken breast. Love the spices and heat. Butter Chicken-another favorite especially with my friends who don't love spicy. It's not overly creamy and the chicken was very tender. Chicken Biryani-beautiful presentation of a delicious chicken and rice dish! Delicious dinner and I highly recommend this Indian restaurant!

Someone recommended this place and it was a great experience! Tried the Somosa appetizer, butter chicken, biryani and Peshawari masala with garlic naan. Everything was tasty with a good balance of spices and flavor. Good service and reasonable prices. I would recommend this place for anyone who is dining in downtown Pleasanton. Note that pretty much everything has dairy products except for the vegetarian options.
